What to Do when I Have Problem in Starting My HP Notebook PC?

8. When the startup menu opens, you can use arrow keys to select “Start Windows Normally”.
9. After that press enter and now you can also connect other peripheral devices.
10. Finally run Windows update and update all device drivers.

Steps for hard reset with a sealed and non-removable battery:

 

1. Turn off your computer and remove the computer from any port replicator.
2. You should disconnect all external connected peripheral devices and then unplug the AC adaptor from the computer.
3. Press and hold the power button for 8-10 seconds.
4. Once you are done plug the AC adaptor back into the computer.
5. Press the power button to turn on the computer.
6. When the startup menu opens, select “Start Windows normally” and press enter.
